After the successful Ford Escort RS Cosworth, the legendary letters RS were lost at Ford for a while. In 2002, however, they reappeared on the three-door Ford Focus hatchback. At first glance, the Focus RS shows, that this is not just an ordinary Focus. It cannot be confused with any other, because the Focus RS was only supplied in one blue color. However, under the slightly embellished shell, there is a technology, that has nothing to do with the ordinary Focus. The car is driven forward by a 2L turbocharged four-cylinder with 210 hp. The torque of 310 Nm is transmitted via the AP Racing clutch to the gearbox with shorter gears and via the Quaife limited slip differential to the original 18" OZ Racing wheels. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 232 km/h also requires a reinforced brake system, so Brembo brakes are used here. The interior of the car, which is a blue/black combination, must match the sporty body and the almost racing chassis, with the Sparco anatomical seats and the sporty leather steering wheel with a blue center stripe. Just press the start button next to the gearstick and head to the spiraling roads to enjoy the first generation of the now legendary Ford Focus RS.
